I use a walker and will need a power operated wheelchair; I might be able to
hold out for the rest of the year.

Does anyone know of any organizations in this area that might let me take a
"supervised test drive" in my house for about 20 minutes?

My hands are getting weaker and I don't know how well I'll be able to turn
the thing. Even if it has handle bars, I'll still need to get a model that
fits the house.

Any ideas, suggestions...?

Thanks

Try a Jazzy. Joystick operated and zero turning radius.

I have worked for several of the mobility dealers in Seattle and
Tacoma and I do not know of one that will bring a scooter to you home
for a trial test. If you are planning to use the scooter only on the
house then I would suggest a small comact rear wheel drive scooter
like the Zip'3, which breaks down into several parts for transporting
in the car and is inexpensive...$589.00. If you would like to discuss
scooters please give me a call 206-417-8500 or go to our website at
